Free Monthly Food Distribution — May 2025 Edition

In May 2025, Adunni Lagba Golden Age Foundation once again reached out to support our beloved elderly community through our Free Monthly Food Distribution program. This initiative remains one of our most impactful efforts, ensuring that elderly individuals—especially the less privileged—receive the nourishment and care they truly need.

For the May edition, our dedicated volunteers distributed carefully selected food items, including grains, fruits, protein sources, vegetables, and essential household staples aimed at promoting better nutrition and overall wellbeing. Each package was thoughtfully prepared to provide balanced nourishment and relieve the financial strain many elderly people face daily.

The gratitude expressed by the elderly during this outreach was deeply touching. Many shared how the rising cost of living and age-related challenges make it difficult to access nutritious meals. For them, this monthly support offers comfort, relief, and the assurance that they are not forgotten.

Beyond distributing food, the outreach provided a warm and encouraging environment filled with interaction, companionship, and emotional support. Volunteers spent time engaging with the elderly, offering words of encouragement, listening to their stories, and sharing moments of joy.
